Identifying Organizational Constraints for Optimal Performance

Have you ever wondered what your organizational DNA would look like? Every organization is different, which is why it is impossible for us to create two identical Culture Studies. What strengths are unique to your organization? Are there some that are underutilized or underappreciated? How much might that cost your morale…or your bottom line. Next question: What is the number one constraint holding your organization back? How much would it be worth to know it and to have a plan to break through? This 100-page report will give you unprecedented insight into what you need to keep doing, what you need to start doing, and what you need to stop doing.

Steps Involved: The Culture Study process can be summarized in the following steps:

  • Discuss the Culture Study questions and customize if desired.
  • Identify populations to sample from and obtain samples from each.
  • Email instructions to participants.
  • Participants take profile and answer questions.
  • Analyze results.
  • Create report.
  • Discuss results with organization’s key leaders.
From start to finish, the process should take about four weeks, depending on how quickly participants respond.

Outcomes: The Culture Study provides a number of direct benefits. First, it helps demonstrate your needs by identifying specific constraints. We isolate your unique cultural needs, instead of assuming that all organizations have the same issues. Second, knowing these issues ahead of time enhances any training done within the organization. Third, the process is cost-effective, convenient, and does not overburden the participants who provide us with data. Finally, performing the Culture Study provides you with an overview of the culture that can be used as a reference point for future growth.

Who: With the help of a coordinating representative from your organization, we will identify your population(s) of interest. For example, you may have different divisions that you want separate information from. Or if you had a recent merger or acquisition, you might want information separated by subgroup. We can even dig even deeper by splitting the subgroups into an additional tier of subgroup splits if desired. We will help you decide the optimal groupings to maximize the effectiveness of the study.

From each population identified, we will obtain representative samples. Utilizing this stratified sampling procedure not only ensures us of a representative sample, but also allows us to determine if responses differ by level. Having the ability to pinpoint your unique cultural issues is one of our competitive advantages over other culture assessments.
